  • Caledonia Hot Air Balloon Rally
    Caledonia hosts two hot air balloon rallies every year. One in October (MEA weekend), and again the first weekend in December. Launch site is behind the Caledonia High School.

  • Caledonia Winter Ice Skating
    Manned by volunteers during winter months at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Contact the City Office with questions.

  • Houston County Airport
    Red Baron Flyers Club. Located on Highway 76, just south of Caledonia.

  • La Crescent Community Ice Arena

    Annual night run/walk in mid-October, hosted by the International Owl Center.

    Held on the third Saturday in May each year.

  • Spring Grove Winter Ice Skating
    A lit ice skating rink is set up near the Fest Building playground during the winter. Kids also enjoy sledding & snowboarding down the “hill.”

  • Snowmobile Trails
    Houston County boasts some of the most scenic snowmobile trails in the state.
